Ken Wang, President and founder of Professional Putting Greens
(PPG), is a golf enthusiast from a golfing family. His father was
a well-known golfer in Taiwan, and as a result Ken had the opportunity
to play with and receive instruction from many Asian PGA tour players,
including 1971 British Open runner-up, L. H. Lu. A number of these
PGA players either owned or designed courses and have shared their
thoughts and experiences in this regard with Ken. Green design
has always been of particular interest to Ken.
Ken holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, both degrees
from California State University, Long Beach. After a successful
stint in engineering, Ken decided to combine his love of golf,
his interest in green design and his career, so in 1997, he founded
PPG. Since then, under Ken's leadership, PPG has installed over
1,500 residential and commercial putting greens and synthetic lawns
throughout Southern California.
Ken believes in honesty and meeting his commitments. The PPG team's
goals are to ensure that each customer is completely satisfied
and receives the highest quality products, workmanship, and services.
“There is nothing more rewarding than to see satisfied customers
enjoying their putting green and the new look of their yard.”
